Winetourism -Wine cellar Malcavada

Do you want to discover the charm of a traditional Ribeira Sacra winery, get to know the artisan and family work up close and try a unique wine, of wich only about 3000 units are bottled each year?

Our plan for the Ribeira del Cabe includes a walk among the vineyards, a visit to the Malcavada winery and an aperitif tasting of our Mencía Malcavada selection.

We do this plan by reservation from Tuesday to Sunday afternoon, it lasts approximately two hours and cost 12€ per person.

Additional information

IMPORTANTE	Punctuality. We have to keep our schedules, so we need everyone to be punctual. Not complying with the schedule leads to the loss of reservation.
TRANSPORTE	Transport from the Boat´s pier to the town where the whine cellar and dinner takes place is done by the client with their own vehicle. Follow directions to the “Casa Grande de Rosende”, the whine cellar “Malcavada” is a few meters away.

We set sail from the embarcadero (pier) of Os Chancís (Sober) and we recommend to be there at least with 10 minutes prior to the expected departure time of the boat, because in case of not being punctual the amount of the reservation will be lost.

To arrive to the pier you have to follow the road from Sober that leads to the “Embarcadero de Os Chancís” or look for it in Google Maps with this link .

Before arriving to the pier you will see a white sign that reads “Embarcadero de Os Chancis” beside the bar that opens in the summer evenings, continue this road with the car until you reach a little waterfall. There you should park in angle, and then continue walking down the stairs to the floating dock. There are 6 flights of stairs to reach the river, so, very much to our regret, the access is not suited to people with reduced mobility.
